APPOINTMENTS
We see pets by appointment. Sick pets are seen as soon as possible and emergencies are given top priority.
Please call 810-629-9882 as far in advance as possible for appointments. If an appointment cannot be kept, please notify us as soon as possible so we can use that time for someone else.
PHONE CONSULTATIONS
Our telephone is answered by our receptionist during our regular office hours, and by an answering system when the office is closed. The answering system provides the names and phone numbers for emergency services.
Due to the large number of phone calls handled each day, we ask that you give all of the details concerning the reason for your call to the receptionist. If the receptionist is unable to assist you, we will have a technician call you as soon as they are available.
Our fees are based on our cost of operations. We recognize the need for a definite understanding when it comes to fees, and that this is necessary for a good relationship between our clients and us. An itemized care plan will be given to you upon request and itemized receipts explaining the charges are always given. If you have any questions about your bill or fees, please ask.
Payment in full is expected at time services are rendered.

MEET THE STAFF
Dr. Jackie Pozniak
Veterinarian
I graduated from the college of Veterinary Medicine at MSU in 1978. After working at different clinics, I started my own so I could practice the kind of medicine I believed in. I retired in 2016 but Dr. Smith convinced me to return to practice and I agreed because of the excellent medicine practiced at AHC and the fabulous staff that I am privileged to work with every week. I strongly believe in fear free practice and I try to adapt my recommendations based on the needs of my clients and my patients.
